A Gala Concert in Honor of
A Package from Home's 10th Anniversary

Renowned pianist, Roger Kamien, will be the guest soloist and Anita Kamien, Music Director of the Hebrew University Orchestra and Choir, the King David String Ensemble and the Jerusalem Chamber Philharmonic, will conduct.

Roger and Anita Kamien and the Jerusalem Symphony have enthusiastically joined us in our efforts to raise funds to enable us to continue sending care packages to Lone Israeli Combat Soldiers* and to sending groups of severely wounded soldiers and their aides for a Respite Care Week-end, away from the hospital.

The evening's wonderful entertainment was a triple pleasure, an enjoyable evening, an exciting musical treat and the warm feeling of knowing that you are strengthening the spirit and resolve of the "Defenders of Israel".

All profits from funds raised at the Concert will be used to provide Winter Care Packages** for the more than 5000 Israeli Lone Combat Soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces and to pay for our 3rd Annual Respite Care Week-end for severely wounded Israeli Combat Soldiers and their aides.


* Soldiers without families in Israel

** Winter- care packages are filled with a fleece blanket, bath towel, two pair of anti-fungal socks, two t-shirts, two piece long underwear, two pair of boxer shorts, wet wipes, assortments of candies, snacks, toiletries, letters of appreciation written in English, Hebrew, Amharic and Russian sent by children and adults, and a hand knitted wool cap knitted and donated by knitters all over the World.
